I am caring, compassionate, dedicated and I love what I do. I studied MA Drama in Cardiff and found my love of Dramatherapy and Community theatre. I came to Dramatherapy later on in life and found it combined my love of drama, the arts and helping people. I studied MA Dramatherapy in London in 2018 and the rest is history. My main aim is always to build a trusting therapeutic relationship and to tailor therapy sessions to your specific therapeutic needs. Making a positive impact and being alongside you on your journey is the core of what I do.
I am always learning about my practice and am studying Safeguarding Adults and Children, Advanced CBT, NLP, Behavioural Therapy, Trauma, Anxiety and Mental Health and Bereavement Counselling. I am always working to expand my knowledge of other ways of working therapeutically and I am always learning from my clients and my colleagues. I am registered with the Health and Social Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a full member of the British Association of Dramatherapists (BADth) and have a Enhanced DBS to work with Children and Adults
I have volunteered working with people with Dementia and love community theatre and have run drama workshops and groups with adults and children. I love crafting and am an avid sewer. I love making and creating my own clothes, bags, accessories which I find very therapeutic. I love walking and being outside in nature. I also love the theatre from Shakespeare to musicals to community group performances.
