I am a fully qualified Dramatherapist, Arts Psychotherapist, Therapeutic Drama Group Practitioner and can offer therapeutic sessions including art, music, play, crafting and movement. I have worked with bereavement, self-harm, anxiety, stress, depression, autism, high complex needs, ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma and attachment amongst other specialities. I have worked in Mental Health, SEN schools, nursery amongst other settings. I am a caring, compassionate, and mature and have worked with individuals and groups of pre-school children, over fives, adolescents, adults and older adults with a wide range of ethic and social economic backgrounds. I am offering one to one and group therapy and therapeutic sessions both face to face in person and online.
Dramatherapy enables you to explore and express your thoughts and emotions through the medium of drama but it’s not just drama its art and play and music and movement allowing you to create your own sessions and what you need at that time and in that space. Dramatherapy uses role play, voice, movement, storytelling, myth, improvisation, masks, objects, puppets, dreams, fairy stories creating characters, costumes and performances amongst many other ways of working.
I am a client centred practitioner, and my aim is to support those of you who may not have had a voice and not been heard and acknowledged and to support you on your journey whatever it may be.
